ArTransit / Performance - Ship

After the Performance-Train ArTransit yet another event was organized on a mobile platform. The artists and musicians produced their performances on a boat on Lake Maggiore, between Italy and Switzerland. During this unforgettable experience Swiss and Italian artists reacted on the moving vehicles to their being in between two very different countries, and which live an intense relationship as neighbors. The idea of movement is translated in a continuous flow of words and dialogue interventions, which actively include the public. There were lectures of texts from Carlo Emilio Gadda and Enrico Filippini and finally the music spectacle called Cosmos by Esther Flückiger, inspired by the four elements (earth, water, wind and fire) in Leonardo da Vinci’s writings and where unusual materials produced sounds.
