Filters & Colors. On the work of Barbara Fässler from Paolo Bianchi

What do we see?
It is time dependent, as we no longer see the same things in the same ways as our parents did. Vladimir Nabokov, the author of «Lolita», once said that the letter M was pink for him and blue for his wife. For his son, in turn, it was purple, exactly the color which results, in painting, by mixing his parents colors.
Nabakov commented with these words: «As if the genes were watercolorists». People are just as far from copies of their genes as a painting is from a copy of the image a painter has in his head. To allow to exist means to create, not to copy.
