ArTransit / Motion to Space
The exhibition intends to show which effects new technologies have on images and on visual art and how new instruments – digital video and photography – are able to enlarge the perception of space. The thematic show unifies twelve artists who live on the Milan-Ticino-Zürich geographic line. The transalpine passage of new technologies, knowledge, visual imaginations and fantastic worlds promises a stimulating dialogue in order to surpass not only geographical borders, but also linguistic and technological limits. The transfer of new visual skills and imaginations is based on a long tradition between Milan and Zürich.
