Relief Print

During the lessons on different printing typologies, one of the examples covered was relief print (Hochdruck), a technique which prints the structure on the surface and omits the engraved parts. For the pupils it’s easier to work with linoleum, which is softer than wood. After a detailed introduction about different types of patterns, the students developed a subject they were able to print repeatedly on their surface, in order to create a regular grid.
